Hi Dave

A good point, we had wondered as well. In the FAQ on the Fwebtraffic site it says

Q. How can you afford to offer this service for free?
A. Because sponsors pay us to be able to advertise on our site. They effectively subsidise you, and enable us to provide this service free to the general public. The sponsors pay us to place small unobtrusive banners on the bottom of our site.

We have not seen any banner ads yet, but it will be a site that gets a lot of traffic so the logic appears right.
